Had a great time at Balboa 9. Shot an even 40. Two triple bogeys. That means I had 7 pretty good holes. Had a putt for eagle and a couple for birdie. One birdie putt was tracking perfectly and hit something on the green and took a left turn. As always, the guys are great.

Gonna Play Balboa 9-hole  golf course with the retired guys today. A very fun group who has basically a standing tee time there every Thursday around 2:00 PM. Balboa 9 is a nice, walkable executive (par 32). You can hit driver on 4 holes, assuming you hit it 225 or less. If you're a bomber, only 3. Working on getting some photos for the site.

Golf. Woke up this morning thinking I need rehab. My very first thought was golf. It CAN be a terrible disease. It has been a whole 5 days, although I know it might be a few weeks before I get my links jones again. My goodness. This is the inaugural blog for all things San Diego (and points unknown) golf in my crazy head. More reviews, rants, and raves to follow...
